Byzantine (Greek Orthodox Christian) Iconography

Traditional Eastern Orthodox Christian Iconography uses layers of pigment on wood usually starting with the Deepest colors and working towards the light. I recreated this technique in Abobe Illustrator using Layers. The results were fantastic.
